Murder Mystery Night

Our murder mystery nights take place in top hotels across the country, social clubs and even peoples’ homes. But, no matter where the murder mystery takes place, we do everything we can to ensure you have a great night.

When you arrive you will be greeted by our friendly staff, and those brave souls who have opted to take on a guest character role will be given their background information (if it hasn’t been given to them already).

You’ll then asked to make yourselves comfortable in where ever is serving as the lounge. Here you will have a chance to meet your fellow guests and watch a brief film that sets the scene for the evening’s mystery.

Our actors then enter, and the story begins to unfold around you. You’ll be swept up in a web of intrigue as you are introduced to the host of colourful characters that will entertain you through an evening of murder and mystery.

Once the lounge scene is finished, you’ll make your way to the dining room where, over a delicious meal, it’s time for you to turn detective. You quiz both your fellow guests and the actors, trying to find out what deep, dark secrets they have in their past.

If you have a guest character role, everything you need to answer these questions will be on cards that are given to you during the meal. It is up to you as to how much you want to get into character and play your part, but don’t worry, your role is easy and fun (just bring reading glasses, if you need them!).

Key tasks are introduced to help you keep track of who’s who. These are completed in small groups so that a competitive edge enlivens the evening and old friends or new ones can sleuth together.

As the meal progresses, you will hear arguments, secrets and scandalous revelations. Question your fellow guests, and determine their possible motives. One thing is for sure, there will be lots of laughter, and maybe some surprises, too, as the plot unfolds!

As tea and coffee are served, the actors leave you for awhile so you can come up with your own solutions, and the evening is finished off by Inspector Berkeley entering and making his arrest.

Will you win the Hercule Poirot award for powers of deduction? Or fail miserably and get the Inspector Clouseau award instead?

Afterwards, the question on everyone’s lips will be, “Do you have another plot so we can enjoy it all over again?”

The answer, of course, is YES!
